Arrival by plane

The nearest international airport to Göttingen is Hannover. Transfer from the airport to the main station lasts 20-30 minutes. From Hannover main station the Intercity express (ICE) needs 33 minutes to reach Göttingen.

Arrival by Train

After arriving at the Göttingen railway Station, proceed to the eastern exit of the railway station and take the bus lines no. 21/22 directions “Nikolausberg” or 23 directions “Fassberg”. Get off the bus at “Tammannstraße”.

Alternatively you may take a cab just in front of the western exit of the railway station which takes you to the venue “Fakultät für Physik” Friedrich-Hund-Platz 1 within 10-15 minutes.

Arrival by car

You reach the Fakultät für Physik” Friedrich-Hund-Platz 1 via the motorway A7. Please take the exit no. 72 (Göttingen-Nord) and then take B27 to Göttingen.
