Venue

The iCOMET 2017 will be held at the conference hotel Grauer Bär in Innsbruck, Austria. It includes fine dining, conference rooms and pool facilities. The hotel is located close to the town center and the “Innsbrucker Hofgarten”.

Innsbruck

Innsbruck is located in the central alps, surrounded by the Karwendel mountains in the North and the Patscherkofel and the Serles in the South, all higher than 2000m. In 1964 and 1976 Innsbruck hosted the Winter Olympics.

Located near the Brenner pass, Innsbruck has always been an important stop on the road between Italy and Northern Europe. For centuries it was a residence town of the Habsburg emperors. The University of Innsbruck was founded in 1669.

Travel

Innsbruck is easily reached via the local airport or the large Munich Airport, to which it connects within three hours by train or shuttle bus.
